Matt is an avid hunter of anything that walks, runs, or flies. He works in Knoxville, TN for Bonnie Plant Farm driving plants to Kentucky. He also enjoys playing Black OPs with the boys and fixin anything he can get his hands on! Matt keeps me grounded, helps me to not take life too seriously and makes me slow down and take a breath. He is the love of my life and I am so blessed beyond measure that I get to spend my life with him!
Mollie is a Type A, OCD special education teacher who enjoys being at Lake Martin with family and friends. I am a volleyball coach, lover of any Nicholas Sparks book, and lover of Diet Coke.
Matt and I met in 2007 at Camp ASCCA (Alabama Special Camp for Children and Adults. We were both counselors and while we were are small camp (Dadeville Campus), we had a connection over farm animals and being from small southern towns. Not to mention we had pretty similar large family backgrounds that instantly made me feel a little different about him! Also the fact that he claimed to be able to build anything with a hammer, some nails, and some wood-this was a huge deal considering that my Grandaddy Ellis could make me anything! (All this proved true when he surprised me with a jewelry box and then the next year a swing!)
We have been married almost 10 months. We have 2 furry children: Waylon-A Yellow Lab who has more energy than any dog I have ever seen! Jennings-A tabby mix who loves me, but is still skeptical about Waylon and Matt!
