Baby Eli
This past weekend Sara, Cotney, Lindsey and I gave Adrianne a shower for Baby Eli. We had so much fun enjoying all our friends and seeing all of Eli's gifts. This was an all girl party so the boys all played paintball-their new obsession! Eli is already loved so much and has a ton of "Aunts and Uncles" to love on him! My camera is on the fritz so I snapped a few pics of the food, an gifts. Sara has a whole post with great pictures on her blog The Browns-look under people we know!

HUGE NEWS
I bet all of my avid readers (haha) are wondering what the McMillan's have been doing for the past couple of weeks? Well.......
The huge news is not that! It is that we are under contract on a HOUSE! Ah..... We only started looking 2 months ago, looked and made an offer on a house, lost that house b/c we didn't want to go higher, stopped looking, then all of a sudden I randomly was on the Realty South website and found this beautiful 4 bedroom/2 bathroom house on a large lot! Matt and I both liked the way it looked so I called our realtor and asked her to set us up an appointment. She was not able to get us an appointment until Tuesday which any other time would have been fine, but Matt was already scheduled to go back to Knoxville that day so I went and looked at the house with our realtor. I fell in love immediately, but was skeptical if Matt would like it since the yard was not a full acre, didn't have a pond, etc. As I was getting ready to leave our realtor was like I do not want to pressure you, but houses of this size in this area go very quickly. Plus she said the house was scheduled to show the next three days and then an Open House on that Sunday. So I immediately called Matt, shared the news and that we really needed to make an offer on this house if we thought we wanted it!
SO the next morning Matt calls me and tells me he made an offer. I was surprised because if you know my husband you know he like to "sleep" on any decision he makes. Now remember he has NEVER seen the house. He is literally going off of my pictures, pictures on the Internet, and the realtor's advice. I met our realtor that afternoon, signed all the paperwork and then we waited. On the Saturday of the weekend, we all came to an agreement. We were beyond excited/nervous/OMG what have we done! \
Once we got over the OMGs, we moved forward with the inspection, worked all that out, and now we are just waiting for October 14, 2011....CLOSING DAY!!!! Hopefully we will be able to move on the Monday after closing, so if you are free that week come on to McCalla and help us move!!!!
I am attaching the only good picture of the house I have. It has been taken off-line because we are under contract, so I don't have any of the inside! Just know that it was built in 1936, has 4 bedrooms/2 bathrooms, has original hardwood floors, and everything else has been completely renovated! We got lucky on this house because the previous homeowners are not only house-flippers, but the lady is an interior decorator! We have already bought a new couch and are in the process of looking for a new dining room table! We hope you all can come visit!

Brings Back Memories
This weekend Jeff, Adrianne, and Zoe stayed with us since Z had a softball tournament in Cottondale near Tuscaloosa! Matt and I decided to go and join in on the fun! As we sat at the ballfield game after game all I could think about was all the times my family was at a ballpark! Zoe's team ended up finishing Runner's Up and they were so excited! They play in Birmingham in October so they will be staying with us again and we will get to join in on the action again! After the tournament we got SnowBiz and it was so good! We had fun Zoe and we are so proud of you! I snapped a few pics with my phone!
This picture looks bad, but Z got a shiner last week during practice, then another one during the first game! She is definitely tough!
